There are a lot of aspects such as image stabilization, how fast it can focus and etc. So the phone camera will beat LG. Now about the battery. SUPER AMOLED display will be really efficient and Snapdragon 835 will be 30% more efficient too so no worries about the battery. And also the OS is 7.0 already meaning that the system will be very light and fast.

I think this will be actually very well. Don't take into account battery too much. The processor(Snapdragon) is already 30% more efficient and the screen is SUPER AMOLED means it will be saving much more power. Its CPU is also high enough and I really liked this one because Samsung is not packing all they have any more, instead they are focusing on what could be best for their phones.

This is basically like the Note 7 without the stylus and it also has a larger curved portion of the screen.

I agree, Samsung won't have the best phone to offer with S8. What is really needed and fast is a Note8 for all those people who wanted/needed a Note7. But Samsung is sleeping/waiting (for what, Santa Clause?) instead of working, so other brands are coming in with better phones :).

The rumored specifications suggest, that the camera hardware is nearly identical. Maybe, they will use a new image sensor. A camrea, which starts quicker, has a higher range of selectable resolutions (starting at 0.1 MP/QCIF for junkies, up to the maximum) and camera controls like the LG V10, where framerate, resolution and bitrate can be specified apart from each other.
But the glorious combination from smoothness and detail, which means 2160p and 60fps, is something every filmmaker will look forward to.

Curve only S8 is wrong decision. For me curved display has shitty look, i'd never buy it. This sucks.

Second of all, the Camera's 12MP Dual-Pixel is really good. I've tested the S7 (Edge) camera (also 12MP Dual-Pixel) and the S7 (Edge) camera is better than the S5's 16MP Camera. The camera will probably not change, not sure, there's still a chance it could change. The Megapixels are not the only thing that should be taken into consideration in a camera.

Anonymous, 27 Feb 20173000 mAh only?Yes. This is the expected dimension of S8: 140.1 x 72.2 x 7.3 mm. Realistically speaking, I dont think battery any bigger than that could fit. The dimension is actually even smaller than most normal 5inch phone.
