Samsung Galaxy S8 Active shows up on GFXBench
We’ve already reported the Galaxy S8 Active appearing on Geekbench. Now another listing, this time on GFXBench, reveals some more info about the more rugged version of Samsung’s latest flagship. The phone reports a 5.4” screen with 2008 x 1080 resolution. Those both sound a little off though - the second seems a result of the phone's built-in downscaling feature, while the display size is often wrongly listed on GFXBench scorecards.
The listing confirms the Galaxy S8 Active will run on Snapdragon 835 with an octa-core CPU and Adreno 540 GPU. The RAM will be 4 GB and the internal storage will be 64 GB, 53 of them user-available.
The Galaxy S8 Active unsurprisingly will have one 12 MP camera on the back. The OS is Android 7.0 Nougat, probably with Samsung’s latest UI on top.
We are yet to see any official info from the Korean company. Until then, feast your eyes on the previously reported no-dual curved screen render of the Galaxy S8 Active.

I tried the S8+ and did not like the curved screen, so hopefully this will be FLAT like in the supposed leaked photos. Samsung needs a flat variant flagship with tiny bezels of course.

Let's hope the battery is at least 5000mAh. 4000mAh just doesn't cut the mustard these days!
