Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ specs revealed by TENAA

Peter, 29 March 2017

There’s little we don’t know about the upcoming S8 duo, but TENAA kindly filled in the remaining details. Uncharacteristically, it refrained from posting photos of the devices, but that’s okay - there’s no shortage of leaked images.

Samsung Galaxy S8 at a glance:

  • Body: 148.9 x 68.1 x 8.0mm, 152g
  • Screen: 5.8” Super AMOLED, 1,440 x 2960px resolution (586ppi)
  • Memory: 4GB RAM + 64GB storage; 6GB RAM + 128GB storage; microSD slot
  • OS: Android 7.0 Nougat
  • Battery: 3,000mAh

Note that the TENAA lists a quad-core CPU and 1080p max resolution for video capture, but we’re pretty certain those aren’t correct.

Samsung Galaxy S8+ at a glance:

  • Body: 159.5 x 73.4 x 8.1mm, 173g
  • Screen: 6.2” Super AMOLED, 1,440 x 2,960px resolution (531ppi)
  • Memory: 4GB RAM + 64GB storage; 6GB RAM + 128GB storage; microSD slot
  • OS: Android 7.0 Nougat
  • Battery: 3,500mAh

Once again, we think that the quad-core CPU and 1080p video are bunk.

To VODA: To each their own. Even the Note 4 itself, which I like, is too big for me. I like it because of it's very loud volume but at the same time don't like it because of it's size. One handed use is important to me...not just the bells and w...
