kzxkzinn, 18 Sep 2018Hello guys, i want to ask you should i buy p20, note8 ot s9... moreS9 because
1- More recent hardware, the best available except the battery which is average
2- Android P and Q updates coming eventually (Note 8 only P)
3- Timely updates (region-dependent, can be circumvented)
4- No benchmark cheating
5- Broad support network (service centers and partners for in-warranty repairs)
6- Not a notched awfulness
7- Variable aperture camera, unheard of elsewhere.
8- Samsung Pay which uses MST to work at 99% of retail location

Anyone tried flashing Android Pie (through Project Treble) on S9 yet? Does it improve the battery life?

Both of next flagships should have dual camera. Not everyone wants to buy a big phone just because it has dual camera.
Best to bring back A3 with up to date internals.

I've been using this phone for about 4 months and this phone is incredible. This phone's processor is very powerful and this phone is very responsive. This phone can run almost every game smoothly. This phone's camera also great, especially in the low light (Thanks to the wide 1.5 f aperture lens). The display of this phone is very clear, sharp and vibrant colors. The battery wont last a day but I wont say terrible. At least Samsung includes fast charging in the box not like Apple. It wont charge the phone as quick as oneplus's dash charge but it is pretty quick. Overall, i will recommend this phone.(9 out of 10)

YyY, 06 Sep 20184 GB Ram and 64 GB ROM for the Samsung flagship, when Oppo ... moreIt depends on powerful CPU. Huawei and Oppo may have more rams but S9's ram managements are great and it has one of the most powerful CPU. It wont reload all the times.

In Asia, Oppo and Vivo are everywhere, no problem to fix your phone...and at only 300 dollars you can enjoy buying a new top specs phone every year instead of being stuck with your 800 dollars phone with low resale value.

Using s9(exynos version) since 1 month. Amazing looking phone with great display. Battery backup is okay, Performance is amazing as it has the latest SOC but you'll able to feel little lags, frame drops here and there. Front camera is amazing, Rear camera is fine. Rear camera tends to over sharpen the image every time. In normal light conditions it works fine but in artificial lightening and low lightening image gets over sharpened. Low light performance is just okay with noise visible in background.
Stereo speaker is amazing, very loud and rich with dolby atmos.
Basically they are overcharging you for all the features they are giving like edge lighting, Samsung pay, Samsung health etc. And you get all the Samsung bloatware which is a mess(you can disable them).
Bixby is worthless, It doesn't even recognise simple commands. I have turned off the Bixby button and Bixby home screen, but still it gets switched on automatically(the Bixby home screen).

Anonymous , 03 Sep 2018Its a 2018 flagship that's been fixed in 2018 itself in ter... moreiPhone 8 logic board and unoptimized S9 comparison? Seriously? I paid close to $800 expecting an upgrade but had issues for 3-4 months with the overheating and battery. It's not easy to live with the two. Downgraded to LG G7 + now but glad that S9 is fixed finally.
P.S. I use DUAL SIM functionality so Apple is always out for me.
