With this phone,my dream of getting a kitkat update for s duos 2 is over. Sammy ain't gonna update sduos2 with this one in market. Reduced ram from 768 to 512mb and calling this an upgrade from s duos.

AdiSan, 14 Oct 2014Hey, Whenever a call is made from this phone, the screen... morethis is because the samsung has removed proximity sensor from the phone.. which is used to turn off the screen while calling... so bcz u dnt have the sensor.. samsung hass added touch to unlick feature in place of proximity.. so that whenever you call your phone screen gets locked.

Hey,
Whenever a call is made from this phone, the screen gets locked and the user is asked to tap twice to unlock it. I find this to be irritating. Could someone please tell me how to stop this from happening. I haven't come across this feature in any other smartphone I have used thus far and would greatly appreciate any tips/tricks to handle the same. Thanks.

tiku, 07 Oct 2014its nonsence phone......................hanging hang setI m using duos 3 since 1 month. I didnt face any problem. No hang or any other. The only disadvantage is low ram bt its managable

i just bought samsung galaxy S duos 3, 1 week ago. but i'm facing few problems in it. first one , hang frequently and another is "ERROR,camera failed" what is the best way to resolve these problems....

SAMSUNG company should think about public need of RAM and Java and size of screen. As per cost of this phone it must should have bear 1 GB RAM, 4.5 inch screen and lash with Java. Resultant, it is not good as compared to its prize. An hopeless launching among the todays generation.

dont buy it samsung only wants money, thier phone alwayse at high price but then too many people encourage to buy but thier phones are not good very bad specs, like s duos 3.

this is a bad phone, the s duos 1 said to have an os update but nothing comes,the s duos 2 and 1 are experimental,this now, i will tell you its a bad phone, a 4inch screen must 5 inch becasue of what spec it have so very low and pricefull.

samsung is a lil crazy manufacturing this phone, it should have at least an improved 4.5 to 5 screen, 1 gb ram and 8mp camera.

go to S Duos 2. bcoz it dons't have proximity censor, compass censor, GPU,and the main Problem is very low RAM memory of just 512 MB. S Duos 2 has 768 MB RAM.it helps to avoid lagging problem.
