s duos is worst compare to any other samsung phones....it has weak and poor processor because of this it has affected performance and hangs all d time...while opening contacts message dialler it takes 20-30 seconds....wenever i use internet it works very slow like facebook gmail....even using whatsapp sending messages or images take time....while playing games also its lags everytime...if u purchase micromax lava in dis range also..u will get dual core with nice gaming n u will feel u r paisa is vasool but s duos sucks it has single core bad gaming bad processor...samsung is waste .......

I own Galaxy S Duos for less than 2 months and already it has started showing problems.
One major problem I faced is as follows:
One fine morning I woke up and plugged my Galaxy S Duos for charging. To my horror, I saw that the phone was not charging at all. I took the phone to the nearest Samsung service center and they told me that the usb/charging socket is no functional due to Liquid Lock(Damage due water or similar fluids). Now I never carry the phone with me. I always carry it in my backpack which has a separate compartment for a phone. I told the clerk at the counter that it was not possible in 50 days. He showed me the inside of the usb socket with a giant magnifying glass that there was a green deposition which was sulphur. The usb socket is open and humidity in the air can cause such damages. There were several people who had the same complaint in the more expensive versions of the Galaxy phone. Despite of the warranty(which is a hoax), I was charged Rs 550. The repair charge is a very nominal amount but I felt cheated due to a faulty design or maybe use of cheap raw materials for which I was charged.
