Well i have been using this model from quite a some time. I will say that the model is good and handy. But if you want to go for games better go for higher end models of samsung like grand or S3. This is for surfing internet and photos.
I will rate this as a good and worthy for those who are not too much in games.

Hanging problem

I am using this phone since last two months. His phonr hangs many time and work slow as well. Even not able to play temple run and subway surfer smoothly. i would suggest canvas hd in place os galaxy s duos. Canvas hd processor is good and gaimming expirience is owesome.

I bought this phone in Oct 2012 primarily to see Office e-mails which for some reason wasn't working on my earlier n97.
Having owned a Samsungs I went in for this after due research but after about a month of purchase it has been a huge disappointment.
This phone becomes slow if you have two email accounts.I have tried everything from freeing up RAM to keeping cpu at peaak performance - nothing works.
The initial price of INR17300 was outright cheating - look at how the phone is priced now.
My bad experience with Samsung was only reinforced when the battery on my Galaxy ACE failed in less than a year of purchase - only proves that the brand is no longer quality conscious like earlier.
Could someone help me with tips to improve performance of this phone?Request specific steps.

Based on the specification info this S Duos can run 3G simultaneously on 2 simcard (usually there is one 3G dedicated to one simcard only). Is this true ??? anyone please answer this thank you

Better buy Htc desire X or wait for s3 mini or lg f5 with 8gb internal memory in which 4.35gb for applications.
S advance is good phone but OS 2.3 ginger bread if ur happy with ginger bread go for it. After buy don't upgrade to jelly bean. S Advance have 16gb memory in which 1.8gb for applications.

i am using this phone from last two months ...and i did not get any problem with this ...its a good phone according to me .........its also good for gaming and for different type of tasks .....:) :) ...if some one want to bye ...dont see the negative or positive feed back ...ok just buy and see the result .......good luck .....:) :)
