As you already know it has issues with apps to sd.
Still you asking if it prompts the user to install apps in sd or phone memory.
if it would've been asking, then there would be no issue like apps to sd.
In short, u can transfer apps to sd. UNLESS you root the phone.
No hard feelings. Just take what i said lightly.
I'm a user of this phone for past 5 months.

Friends...
I am planning to buy S Duos and found most features decent for my budget. The only thing I wanted to seek expert's advice is that I heard about the apps not been able to be moved to the memory card.
> But my question is does this phone ask the user for an option of installing any particular app on the memory card? or does it directly install it in the phone memory?
Can you guys please give fair opinions on this one?

It runs all essential apps smooth n nice.. Only lack issue is about gaming experiences. Well u hv to compromise with it.. Live wallpaper will feel u slight laggy, which is negotiable or negligible.. If u keep ur video in 480 pixels, it will be fine. Use mx player to run videos,some time it run 720 pixel videos too. Let me know what u have bought at last

Hey go for grand... Just increase 2k more... Or check htc devices, where u may get modern and fast processor with atleast 1 gb ram... But i wud suggest grand.. Just increase 2 more

Perfect fone! go for it.. just a prob that u cant install apps on sd, neither can u move untill u root the device..

why samsung galaxy ace plus is costly than s duos ..while s duos has 4 inch screen n it is latest ..i cant find any reason..i checked the price on 'my smart price.com'
