Just to add ... I'm merely attempting to offer some justice to this phone. As a benchmark, I am owning HTC One X, Samsung Galaxy S3, Motorola RAZR MAXX (and iPhone 4). Bought this S Duos about 2 weeks back. Its no inferior to any of the above phones mentioned. The dual SIMs work perfectly. Besides dual-in call and dual-in sms, calling out and sms out are also dual - you can select which SIM to use anytime you need; there is no need to change the default SIM prior to calling out or sms out like some other dual SIM phones. So, after the rooting + DirectoryBind + LinkSD, I'm a happy user of the phone despite I am still owning the 4 close-to-top-range phones.

The fun of Android phone is technically you can modify it to your liking.
First is the slow CPU/sluggish response - likely the CPU power saving option under Power Saving has been activated. You will rectify this problem by simply uncheck the CPU power saving.
Insufficient memory, etc. - root your phone first then use DirectoryBind and Link2SD (all are free). You will have then a max of 32G memory to play with.

AnonD-87812, 10 Dec 2012its my personal and real experiance that S duos cannot move... moreYou can store movies and music files in the memory card, received files via bluetooth will be saved in the memory card, downloaded files will be saved in the memory card, photos taken will be saved in the memory card - that is the purpose of having the memory card.
This phone is not slow, the problem is with the one using it not properly. Ending the used apps properly will not cause the phone to get slow and hang.
Learn to use it wisely before complaining.

its my personal and real experiance that S duos cannot move apps to sd card.
Whats the point having a memory card slot then? Phone is very very slow. Hangs very often.

Same Problem as other samsung phones,,,Phone hangs every now and then ...Also processor is very slow ,though on paper it is is 1 GB....Some of the simple grahic games doesnt work with this mobile...Please avoid buying

i purchase new Samsung duos s 7562 but it is very very slow,when i want to open contacts i need 10 mins its very slow,what i do for make my mobile fast.

i am using this phone for 1 month and here is some issues i faced---
1. Phone hanged twice and i need to restart forcefully.(both time i was playing games for nearly 30 min).
2.contact list responses little slow...while calling it took extra 3-4 seconds to start.
Apart from those two issues, i am very much satisfied using this phone...

i bought this phone november within one week i observed that it restarting couple of times in a day and some times automatically get switchoff, some times i need to remove battery to restart it . samsung service people changed its software n ime reading for 2 times even though the problem not yet corrected . my frnd is using same phone wit no complaints...........very bad experience for me....

My Phone starts alarm at midnight daily .. cannot find how it happend .. in alarm settings.. its not showing up..
Please advise how to stop this..

After all following the comment for 2-3 weeks decided to buy the phone.
In simple terms phone is fine for normal day to day use, with no major issues. Lag is eminent with the specs.. but can be controlled through Application like kill apps. Dual sim functions fine. For games Temple run works with out any LAG( that’s only one I checked)
Only prob that cannot be resolved is the in ability to move app to SD. All apps suggested in the reviews (APP2SD, Link2 SD) to move Apps works only if the phone is rooted.
Anybody has a solution to this without rooting the phone..!!!!

No matter how I observe I can't seem to experience the music gap most people here are complaining.
I play non-stop remix MP3 with this phone and it goes smoothly.

Hey guys, im not having problem with this phone since i use it like a month, i tried tethering and it worked for me also i dont know why you cannot connect to internet, it orks for me andi I can watch youtube videos.with no lag....I'm typing this on thw galaxy s duos :-D
