that is tne good phone over all , music lags but you can install winamper to resolve that.
over all is a good phone and working good

looks gr8 ... moreI have encountered the same but I'm still satisfied with this phone since there's solution to the problems that you've mentioned.
1. Gapless playback. The issue is with the music player itself. You may try using winamp or other music players offering Gapless playback.
You may also use a bluetooth headset with DSP capability. I'm currently using a Jabra Street II headset with play music with the stock music player. The songs played were all gapless.
2. Touchscreen lag. There may be so many apps that you are running on background. You may want to disable apps (bloatware) that you dont need. For me, I disabled ChatON, Google search, several widgets that i dont need etc. It worked fine for me. I can even play temple run at around 20FPS (not awesome but not too bad neither)
I like this phone so much that I even bought 1 for my wife. This phone is great, you just need to be aware of it's limitations and do the necessary work-around.

problems are...
• Samsung Galaxy s duos comes with android 4.0.4 ICS. I am facing a problem with my music player. Whenever I play songs, after some times it breaks ( pauses ) for almost 1-1.5 secs. It occurs very often, as a result. I have formatted my memory card and Change my memory card but problem still running. I update my phone recently but problem still running.i also download another player via play store but problem cant solve.
• When I clean task, problem is solve but after 10-11 min problem running again.
• When I use play via phone memory problem is solve but sometimes its breaks again.
• When music play in background and I use different apps or program like lock screen open, open sms, surfing internet, etc then its increase.
• Some times change equalizer automatically ( I use rock version. sometimes its auto select in normal equalizer setting)
• I select mp3 in caller ring tone. sometimes music breaks in incoming call tone.
• Network signal are little bit week.
• Sometimes touch screen does not work properly.
• S Dous has also very worst in speed.when i go to search any contact it goes hang.black screen comes when i click on contact.
• And Phone voice receiving call is not good.voice tone breaks sometimes.
• Sometimes hangs on sms typing.
• After taking a photo or video when i want to review it, it takes longer time to

for that you press :
power + home button together and screen shot is taken automatically

stop negetive comment about this phone. Plus point good camera good resolution good screen size front camera average procceser dual sim good batery attractive looks sensitive touch. Only minus point is no sd move which may will solve in jeallybean. I thnk its ok phone. In sixteen thousand do you want s3. I am using and love it

So much disappointment from samsung and this phone, I was fan of samsung n was suggesting everybody about samsung. This affected image of samsung in my mind. Duel sim performance is not proper, can not use root apps like screen shot etc, can not store app on external sd, while playing music facing a pause for a second or less, slow speed while using contact, main manu after long time, use of main screen after long time, speed isses while playing game too etc.
After all this one question only, will JB update will solve all this prob for sure or not and how to root phone or can we use root apps on this phone or not.
