It's a waste of money.i brought for 17k and the performance is too bad.The phone hangs in many games and almost needed to be charged every now and then. I updated the software and what the Samsung does in marketing giving a gaming powerful engine.It doesn't suit. My suggestion would be to skip this mobile and I even tried by formatting my memory card nothing's improved.finally I sold this joker loosing money.

turn of the power saving mode in the drop down notification panel, this is the reason for the multicolor screen and stuttering(lag).

hopeless phone
when i return to menu after using any application the wallpaper disappears and a multicolor screen appears ,,stays for few sec n den dispears

swayze90210, 02 Dec 2012While the phone was being recharged, I used it to make an u... morepress and hold home button, tap task manager, end all running apps, them in ram tab, tap on clear ram. it should work fine now. remember just don't let too many apps running at background. it just a single core cpu not quad core phone. this is the best dual sim phone so far. the price is just right. :)

Little bit confused on dis phn...wen am using internet on sim2 am unable to get
Calls to my sim1.if it is d case wats d use of duos.
Can any one explain me how to get away frm dis
Sim 1 - bsnl
Sim 2 - vodafone.
Under settings i already selected "receive calls while using net on
Other sim" option but facing pblm.

You did not close previous apps after using them.
You just press the home button without ending the apps. The RAM memory were consumed and there is no way for the phone but to hang.
Kindly don't make habits of pressing the home button when you want to exit a certain application. You need to end it properly. This is not a high end phone to do that bad habit.
Can you imagine applications were running in the background for one week since purchase? OMG! It is not a super phone to handle that.
Learn its limitations and use it properly before complaining!

While the phone was being recharged, I used it to make an urgent call for about 6 mins. Right after the call the phone hanged and there was nothing left to do but to remove the battery to make the phone work again. I was just using it for about 1 week from purchase. Feels sad about its performance.

Hi,all...one months back I was on the same plateform like u all (luking for a decent phone) on gsmarena.com.I came across hundreds of comments before buying my phone samsung galaxy s duos.believe me guys this phone is worth a shot if u r going for it.allthough there are some negative comments abt this phone but tell me one phone in this range who is just perfect.I purchased this phone on dhanteras n till date I hv nt experienced any hiccup.
Believe me,I was seriously against buying samsung phones due to its slow network but I was amazad to download whole movie son of sardar on it (on 2g network).
From the date of purchase till now I use approx 10 hours per day n battery doesn't dissapoint me too.n I keep on expiriencing new things everyday.
So don't worry go for this phone else compare this phone. Spects,with other phone.u wont get 4 inch screen with dual sim anywhere.I have researched xperia,nokia and lg optimus.
Note-i m writting this comment thru its voice chatting software.
