I had a small check on the phones battery... it was 100% by morning 10.30 am (12-Oct-2012)... from then on i was using it with a 15 minutes charging intermittently (once)...
some half an hour on calls, half an hour on face book, one hour on gtalk, one hour on Hindu news feeds... half an hour on a tamil dailies app... half an hour on watsapp... (many of the above where running as multi tasks for some time)... was listening to songs for about 1.5 hours... single sim... some time on Gmail (sending mail with attachments, viewing attachments)... 5 mins on camera (three snaps)... 10 mins on assistive light (torch)
after all this usage by 3.00 AM (13-oct-2012) the battery is now at 7%... it losted to about 16.30 hours...
usage break up as per the phones battery app,
(% of battery power consumed)
screen:43% (of battery)
android OS:23%
android system : 7%
media server: 5%
the hindu news feed : 5%
voice calls : 4%
FB : 3%
Gmail: 3%
cell standby : 2%
Music player : 2%
Hope this detail is useful...
It didn't hang today but i restarted the phone once...

hey guys can u tell me whether it is dual sim active or dual sim stand by......also whether the other sim call is diverted when we are attending call on 1st sim........plz let me knw........im thnkng 2 buy this phone

I bought phn a wek ago and the major prblm to me z its batry timing .it hardly last for ten 2 12 hr with nrmal use and 10%britnes
And yes its a bit slow
but hardware is so cute

The screen response is very slow and screen resolution also bad better to go for desire v only it's as LCD screen and 720 p HD video recording and play back good battery backup.

Nice phone. but some network not support call forwarding option. that was a major problem

Hi all,
I bought this phone 15 days ago. I'm very happy with its performance.But the only problem i felt is the touch sensitivity. Touch sensitivity is slightly lesser than galaxy S Advance. Other than that its an amazing Phone.
I would rate 4/5 for this phone.

HTC Desive V Dont have a secondary camera. Also it has common a flickering problem. And when i compared desire v with samsung Duous just before i bought S duos, the display quality of Samsung S duos was better compared to Desire V
