I noticed that all phones always has one or more less features for being a complete "all-I-want-in-a-phone". Their is a high spec phone but not dual sim and oh poor camera. I read one spec here that is great for gaming but would not last a day. You got dual sim but packed with obsolete chips and so dissapointing features. What? Still no LTE? Dual Sim? Tri Sim? 40MP camera? 8MP front camera? no 32G internal memory? No external MicroSD? oh yeah, some has external memory micro SD but cannot store apps in there? wahahaha!
The one who can offer all these in all types of phones category be it being "low end" to "high end" will sure dominate the market like microsoft did in the computer os sector.

Good afternoon guys, can anybody please help me to solve my prob. With this unit? While openning the contact it takes time to view the contact and really it makes s big prob.thanks in advance.

But why...? you have not mentioned the reason for ot being it bad. I saw the phone today and though it was pretty good... the display for this price was decent and with both sim's active i guess it is worth a try..!

I was dying to buy Galaxy S Duos since Samsung announced this Phone,(because my requirement have been a Dual Sim Phone and being a Samsung Fan for a long time ), but as I was warming up to buy this phone by reading the users opinions and waiting the Market to settle to a minimum price level, I am badly disappointed to know that there is memory problem and apps can not be saved or transferred to SD Card. I decide not to buy this phone. I advise to Samsung to Please release another version of Galaxy S Duos with 8GB Internal Memory to save the face. Why any body will spend such a money and face such a problum. Please...Please... Please... Samsung Look into it.

bought this 5 days back.....freeking ph...too slow...bad battery life....mobile data connectivity problem.....some time restart automatically....consumes approx 5-6 min to get on....video playing is not gd....slow videos playing... prob list is too big....

Its totally a junk. Sheer waste of money. Samsung is nothing bt cheating its valued customers. Cnt imagine a phone in today's date without ability to install apps on sd card. The phone is a failure is proven by the fact that the prices are falling drastically. The retailers are asking Rs. 16400 only. Within a week down from Rs. 17499. I hope in a month or two it will be available around Rs. 12000. Dont waste ur money guys.

indro, 30 Sep 2012Wat is rootingIts just like jail breaking an android phone. Gain more control of your phone. Can overclock it then, and even install the apps to the Memory card, rather than the internal memory.

* Very tiny internal memory space that restricts the access to lot of apps & music or picture storage.
* Not able to store apps in the external memory ie Micro SD card.
* Poor copy of the Galaxy S3 design & no individuality
* Too expensive for what it is offering compared to other phones in the same league in current market.

Considering the phones spec & the price tag, Galaxy S Duos has clearly lost battle with the "ACER LIQUID GALLANT DUO" More sale of that phone has confirmed its success. Much cheaper than Galaxy S duos but plenty of internal memory & the option to save in 32GB Micro SD card. Lovely HD screen with good speed for the spec. Nice sleek design & no copy cat of other phone models like S3. ACER the champion of laptops & tablets also bringing out another Dual sim phone with Dual core processor!!
