Too costly compare with others Samsung models. Better i will prefer Sony tipo or HTC.... are have good looks too.
Samsung need to rethink on price.. 17990/- is much costlier..

the phone is launched in india , for a price of 17900,
and there is another smaller version galaxy y duos lite for 6990
i think its a bit costly , i thought it would be under 16000

In today Economic Times its price is given as Rs 17990/- which is too high compared to Micromax A90

screen size: 4inch but 3.2inch for Tipo Dual
color: 16M but just 256K for Tipo Dual
pixel density: ~233ppi but only ~180ppi for Tipo Dual
storage: 4GB but only 2.9GB for Tipo Dual
camera: 5MP + autofocus + LED flash but ONLY 3.15MP for Tipo Dual, PLUS, no autofocus & LED Flash!!
CPU: 1Ghz but only 800Mhz for Tipo Dual
so, S Duos is worth your money!!
