mark, 15 Aug 2012can that phone works in philippines? It works in the Philippines. 3G bands supported- PHL 3G WCDMA bands at 850/2100 MHZ; GT-I9100M supports both 3G 850/2100 MHZ and GSM-2G. And totally unlocked.

Use this with Globe. Globe has HSPA+, fast data speeds.

My I9100M is a very good set with nice and easy factions. but I can not use this phone, coz its battery not last long for 4/5 hours. Good set without battery is just nothing. I am using mobile for last 12 years, never faced this type of stupid problem. Need to carry always charger with me. Its bool sheet and sucks like anything. When its off it also kills charge. Lool. its true. After charged for 3 hours its starts charging from 0 percent. I will go back to Symbian set.

Is it possible to install or activate a GPS within this phone so I can see where my child is in realtime? If so, how? and do I go online to a special website to see this realtime movement? OR is it old info so I can see where she's been?

Following problems of low battery life and inability to turn phone completely off, took it to another Telstra outlet where salesperson was fantastic.
Lost phone for a few days while they check it out, was offered a loan phone.
Service was great at Castle Hill Towers

There is now also a Samsung Galaxy S II 4G for sale in Australia. I believe this model is currently exclusive to Telstra (http://www.telstra.com.au/latest-offers/samsung-galaxy-sii-4g/). This phone adds LTE at 1800MHz for the Telstra 4G network. I am not sure if NFC was included. The HD version of the screen is *not* provided with this model. :(
