Go for kies or else update via any firmwares by odin.

i had this for a month.. just got mine upgraded to 4.1.2 JB :) and it works great! but the only issue is it's battery.. it drains a quicker. other than that its a great phone! and it is better if you upgrade this phone into 4.1.2 jellybean just like mine! :)
