yes there is a upgrade for the t999v cause i just got mkine upgraded to kitkat. but the i93000 cant cause the rom space is really small

Great phone! To the reader whose GS3 wouldn't connect to the PC. Try changing ur usb cable. I had the same problem, tried what u tried but to no avail, at least permanently. But I swap the usb cable from my Nexus 7 and bingo worked like a charm, permanently. Another usb cable that works is a LG.
