About the Dell Streak 5, you can buy the item for as low as 13,190 Php to 13,500 Php (for cash buyers only, 15,000+ Php for credit-installment) at Villman and Asianic, mostly these stores are located at SM Malls in the Philippines.
I've got the Black one. It's a great Android tab-phone. Great specs and cheap price compared to its competitors.

In the Philippines, Dell Streak 5 is hot on sale right now (as of 10/2011), before, the srp was 20k+ ($500+) but right now it's only 13,190 Php ($300+). Isn't that great?!
Buying a Galaxy S WiFi 5.0, you better think twice. In Dell Streak you've got plenty of great specs:
5inch (Gorilla) Display, wifi, bluetooth, 2 Gb internal + 16Gb external micro SD card, 512mb ROM and 512mb Ram, lots of pre-installed application made by Dell and it's not just a mid-tablet but it's a phone too! A 3G phone (that could send sms/mms, receive calls), and acts as a portable wifi too...

Wifi Hotspot? how can it be a wifi hotspot when the unit itself depends on other sources of Wifi to connect?

Galaxy S wifi 5.0 and Galaxy player 5.0 is just the same. Some some screenshots of the galaxy player 5 on the net last night and it shows that it is also YP-G70.

Here in the Philippines, our galaxy s wifi 5.0 has froyo os only. Hope we can update our galaxy s wifi 5.0 here from froyo to gingerbread because its unfair if they will only release a gingerbread os to U.S. only.

medoo, 27 Sep 2011it will come with android gingerbread 2.3.5 not froyo 2.2 ..No, this is Samsung Galaxy S Wifi 5.0, not Samsung Galaxy Player 5. This one comes with Froyo and is already out.
