MHDR, 21 May 2024It haves issue with charging and its shows red X on charger iconYour issue might be a mismatched charger. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 uses a proprietary 30-pin connector and a 5V-12V charging brick. Check your charging brick, does it say "Output: 5V ---- 2000mA"? If it does, this is the correct voltage and milliampere to charge the device at a decent and stable speed. If it does say this but is still not charging, try plugging it into a different outlet and/or using a different cable. If all else fails and it still refuses to charge, I recommend taking it to an authorized repair shop for diagnosis on the battery's status. It may be a sign of an aging battery.

Anonymous, 18 Aug 2021mine is still in 3.1 . so old fashioned and selective of ap... moreGuys used odni for manual software update from computer connect it to pc or loptop.odni software update can be found on google.you need to donwload and install the file on your pc then turn power off your tablet.after that press and hold power button and volume - button for atlist 10 secs.then connect the cable from computer to tablet.

I've had my Samsung Tab 10.1 (P7510 model) since 2012. I got it as a gift. Throughout the years I've factory reset several times, upgraded from 3.1 "Honeycomb" to 4.4 "KitKat", played games, surfed the web and worked on Google docs with it.
It's Feb 2020 and now running Android 6.0 "Marshmallow". It's slowing down for obvious reasons as the hardware itself is over 8 years old compared to the OS. Still.... back when tablets were new, this was a beauty.

It was slow. My friends ipad 2 was so much better even though it was the same price. This tablet was a mistake. I only got it cause more games were free on android.
