The battery is using a small connector. Once you disconnect it, you can just replace it. You need another battery that will fit and use the same connector, preferably the original bat - even though you can find a similar bat and solder the connector from the old bat, it is risky (it may not work, damage your tablet or, in the worst case, behave like a faulty Note 7).

Currently running latest software update but tab is very very slow and struggling to do basic games like candy crush, check minimum specs required and tab should be fine. Any advice?

This is a great tablet to put the privacy oriented Replicant OS on. Even though it's old, this will allow you to run it with as few closed-source drivers as possible. Make libre a reality!

In order to use Jellybean and latest OS Custom ROMs, you'll need to update bootloader for this device to Jellybean Bootloader right? But in xda-developers, tetakpatak gave a tutorial on how to update it through the use of Odin, but what if I have an Ice Cream Sandwich Stock ROM that came originally in this device (obviously) and I update my Android OS version to Jellybean via "OTA Update" in About Phone, will that also include my Bootloader to update to Jellybean Bootloader?

If you install marshmallow, you may use sdcard bigger than 32Gb. You also may use part of sdcard as adoptable storage. Much better than stock rom's.

You can get marshmallow or lollipop or even N7. 1.1 with latest twrp Recovery... Forget the stock rom it is slow and outdated. Use slimrom or AOSP or even lineage

my galaxy won't rotate the photos i have put an 32GB memory card will rotate with games not with photos on 32GB speed up to 48 mb/s** 320x we have taken photos out of gallery put in coloured star tipe with photo written on it now screen has gone dark can't see photos properly had to fatory restart lost all games which was expected still wont rotate it did all kinds of funnythings with the photos till we changed it out of gallery all this was done by qualified person my email is wylfre@tpg.com.au all this started after we put in 32GB even when we went back to 16Gb photo would not rotate but games would
