This is definitely an awesome device for it's price. Got it a week now, i'm very satisfied. Highly recommended for everyday use (mail, web, movies, social networking, games and notes). In case you need better performance, just get a laptop, although i wouldn't recommend a laptop with a price that low.

    Had this now for a week, replacing a xoom2. It's pretty good for base model, not a 2k res. but really good. It does what U ask it to.

    No complaints, no lagging so far. If U want to read, listen, watch, and b on online, gr8. Especially for this price.

        I dont understand u all.I think that nobody of you will use only tablet.I think that everyone uses a smartphone too with much better camera.For me this camera is good and i think other specs are good.

          I beg to differ. It has no camera flash and only a 3MP main camera. The screen resolution is shockingly low (lower than iPad) at 149ppi. Apart from upping the processor to quad core and adding abit more RAM, its in essence, exactly the same as Tab 3 (which also now has KitKat 4.4.x). Complete waste of money, if you ask me. You'd be alot better off getting a Nexus 10.

                      The resolution is painfully low for something that is going to be mostly showing text to students. Other than that it looks good.

                        Not a real upgrade but still...this is not bad at all....infact it has only 2 big changes here over the previous mile up.

                        1- It has quad core processor while all the previous tab series tablets have dual core.

                        2- Samsung has increase its Ram, it has 1.5 gig of Ram over the only 1 gig Ram of tab 3. 10 incher.

                        But ...if samsung put there 5mp or 8mp rear + 2 mp front camera, at least 2 gb Ram & snapdragon or intel atom chipset, & some sensors like compass, gyro, etc...
                        So I think it will be the best tablet in this range.
