UL4A7, 31 Dec 2023Tablet is slow af don't even purchase this they are that badi think its a good tablet and its good for indoor viewing and just a little laggy when playing high res games and it might crash but thats fine with me. just use it for simple games like or use it for basic stuff like browsing the internet, and watching youtube. but you can also just buy the lenovo tab m9 or the tab a9 by samsung.

THIS TABLET IS SO AMAZING. you can also buy a tab a9 if you want, but yeah, this is still a good tablet and its just not bad at all.

Got it for very cheap i am using just for traveling its kinda slow but it works with Google maps,youtube and some other map apps i kinda like it.

I am looking for a cheap tablet to us... moreNo honestly Samsung should be embarrassed they even still sell this, 3GB ram on anything past android 10, is not sufficient enough for google's OS. then you factor in Samsung's OneUI overlay on top and kiss your RAM goodbye, not enough to multitask let alone open samsung internet and load a web page with any decent respectable speed.
Decent 8" tablets need to make a come back like the Samsung galaxy Tab s2. that was a great ipad mini killer of a tablet for its time. fit in my pocket i used that tablet more than my phone for everything when wifi was avalible. if that tablet could have made phone calls through your carrier like a cell phone. that would have been my daily driver of a device, but google voice was in its infancy then and not really that great yet.
but samsung makes a 14 inch tablet now instead. what a waste if i want a 14" laptop screen of a device ill get a full fledge windows machine for the price of the tablet with a full OS on it and get real stuff done. but we have hit the media consumption and dumbing down of society and we obsorb content like no other now a days. so everyone wants bigger screens to consume content. it is a sad state of affairs we live in today

is it still worth it? I am looking for a cheap tablet to use as a secondary device, and this is among my options due to its size, but I think that 32GB of storage and the processor are not enough for 2024

I've been using this tablet for almost 2 years now.
It's safe to say that I don't like it.
The processor sucks and 32GB storage and 3GB of ram isn't even enough.
It even lagged when I bought it.

If you use this for navigation there is not a tablet better. It's GPS and compass are spot on.

Very often my tablet takes some 5 minute to start because of "Optimizing apps". Is tere any way to turn off this constant checking or disable Knox? - as probably that's what is doing it. I don't find any menu or option for that and it is very irritating (once in every 5 boots).
