For 330 cad or 220 euros is it a good deal ? The 8gb version

No deal for this one, friday deal stuff were all 4gb gorbage.

Some people are reluctant between buying A9+ or S9 FE, well before comparing them the prices may differ, as In my region the base model of FE[128/6] costs almost 60% more than 128/8 variant of A9+.
Both support DeX, have non-Amoled 90hz display, great speakers and average cameras(tbh who would buy tablets for taking professional photos)
A9+ gives you 2 more speakers, 2gb more ram, 3.5 jack, snapdragon processor( had nightmares with Exynos so take this as grudge despite FE has slightly powerful processor), better battery life.
FE gives you 45W charging(not in the box) ,1 more android update, S-pen.
Since I wasn't the pen guy, decided to buy A9+.
Both are decent, but supposedly unless FE is not on-sale, A9+ would be more valuable.

I bought A9+ (128/8) for almost 6 weeks, I wouldn't say it's a 10/10 for the price tag, nonetheless,I am pretty satisfied. Great battery life, finally a Snapdragon chipset for A series , speakers are adequately loud, very bright display for a TFT one, DeX mode is Samsung's wildcard on Android tablets and works smoothly even on the midrange class.

But...but let me write 3 downsides that if you prioritize these factors for buying, it would be much plausible to buy from other brands:
          1. Slow charging: 25W would be nicer(Samsung only did this so S9 FE would not be completely overpriced)
          2. 4gb model is worthless: you can add more storage if you want to, but 4gb in 2024? no... just no. Except for iPads, wipe out any 4gb tablet from your list.
          3. Screen protector problems: the tablet won't recognize the touches on the surface if you'd put a glass screen protector. If you hold the A9+ on your hand or use 3rd party stylus, the problem vanishes.
And about stylus; 3rd party styluses, for its price tag, gets the job done, but i would not recommend for drawing.
          That's it.

          Apologies for writing too long.

Very laggy device. OK for watching videos and maybe some very light gaming, but other than that no

So, I got this as an upgrade from a Chuwi with an unisoc T606 that "worked" but was definitely showing the old cpu architecture. This thing has amazed me on how well it works and responds considering the price. Got the 8/128 version (WiFi only), added a Logitech K480 and a bluetooth mouse, and I LOVE how it could be a basic laptop replacement for basic office chores. Writing this with that setup, in fact. Only thing that I dislike (I knew it beforehand, but still haha) is that we cannot connect to an external monitor via USB, and the lag with cast is annoying enough to prevent a pleasing experience. Thinking about getting onw of those cheap usb c "HDMI converters" at amazon and see if that works and improve things. Battery life has been ok (not stellar, not bad, I´d say about 7 hours of SOT, perhaps? haven´t measured but last me 2 days of light use without issues), the screen is fine for me, the viewing angle "issue" of TFT panles does not affect me since I always use the tablet facing me (kinda weird to use it any other way, but to each his/her own). Office apps from MS run incredibly well, even with some simple but large spreadsheets, videos look crisp... Again, for the price, this appears to be a killer. And Dex.... I just LOVE that feature! I kinda prefer the old interface over the new one, it reminds me of the netbooks of old. In fact, I was getting kinda the same vive as I had with the MSI Wind U120 I had way back then. I also use this one as a "head unit" on my car, got a dash stand, connect it via bluetooth, and got maps and spotify running at the same time on the screen, flawlessly.

How is the screen there ? Most are ips so it may not look good especially at angles.
I'd prefer ips over the 90hz battery drainer...

Had a phone with 695 also not very happy about battery and heat. Stutter from time to time also.

Also very long chafing time but that should be ok

Bad cameras like all tabs except high end expensive apple and I can't stand iOS and even more ipados ( tried both...) So should be ok. Good front cam could be nice for video calls though

Maybe I'll buy if I get good back Friday deal for 8gb and return if not good.

Mom's Samsung Galaxy Tab A6 from 2016 , purchased in 2017 was tormenting her past several years given how slow was becoming.
Fishdom(Candy crush with Aquariums and fishes)would take over a minute to load.
                      On A9+?
                      5-10 seconds.

Price wise she prefered 4/64 model , but I was pushing for 8/128 and agreed to cover half the costs.
                      She LOVES it.
                      I LOVE it.
Tried few hours of Genshin and it works very nicely.

I bought the 5G version, but they also sell the Wi-Fi version, but it's from another seller, so I recommend checking carefully before buying.
And there's also the Tab S9 FE with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, also imported, if you're interested.

I bought the version with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage from a Brazilian store that imported it from Iran (the Brazilian version only has 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, which I didn't like), and although I paid more than I would have liked, it's not inferior in terms of features to my old Galaxy Tab S5e (which had 4 GB of RAM without RAM Plus, 64 GB of storage in eMMC 5.1, and it was impossible to use DeX Mode, and in the last few weeks, even the day-to-day performance has worsened, making it impossible to use multitasking), in addition to the performance being much better, also worth mentioning the storage in UFS 2.2, and the presence of RAM Plus (basically I only lost wireless DeX, Bixby Vision and official support for Good Lock, but the first two are not missed, and the third one is replaced by Fine Lock; And my OTG adapter worked to use the mouse, which didn't happen on the Tab S5e, which needed a USB hub.).

It's a shame that the book cover keyboard for it (EF-DX211) was released in only a few countries, and is not available in my country. And the price on eBay is expensive.

Bad, just bad. It doesn't come with the S pen, just makes it hard to draw on. It only supports the shitty pens that don't have pen pressure.
