Nonnon, 11 Nov 2023you should have bought the Tab A9+ because that one was run... moreIt's an older Snapdragon that's in the A9+. Check the benchmarks. It's pretty much on par with the Helio H99 for CPU and about 20% faster GPU. Nothing too write home about. Considering the A9+ has to drive more pixels and 90Hz I would expect the A9 and A9+ to perform about the same.

    Got mine today. It's a really great tablet considering the price. Stereo sound, not too bad display, ok SOC. I'm happy. Only spent 125€ and I'll get 50 back for a trade in.

    But whyyyy put the power button above the volume and the other way around on the S23. Constantly grabbing the wrong one. Oh well.

    But very happy overall.

            Hi, does the A9 Screen has DC Dimming or it relies on PWM? I read a lot in dimmed rooms, therefore the question regarding the flickering at low brightness. thx

                I wish they had a pro version for this. same size but with SD 7 Chipset, with 90hz refresh rate. doesn't matter if it's LCD, at least it's less prone to green lines when updated.

                  I have this tablet and there is an issue with it (Sm-x115 with xfe firmware)

                  So whenever the tablet just freshly booted the screen looks good with bright saturated colours like it should be.
                  When the tablet goes has been locked and unlocked for the first time after boot, the screen colours goes worst and washed away compared to before locking. Its not even a little difference as it is very noticeable even when i first got it
                  I refuse to believe its a hardware issue as it happens after each boot and follows the exact pattern. It might be just a software problem. I cant even find other firmware to flash via samfw or sammobile. I can upload pics or even videos for anyone wanting to help. I hope this raise awareness and the developers fix it in the next software update. Thanks

                      In the diminishing market for good small tablets, this meh device becomes the "best" you can get if you're looking for an 8" Android tablet. At the least it graduated from eMMC and now uses G99 + UFS storage. But the 4GB RAM is still limiting. But at least it's not that expensive. BBK is selling phones with G99 for way more money than this.

                        Kent, 09 Dec 2023Just checked my A9 The RAM Plus only have 2GB & 4GB options.Does this tablet have the battery protect feature where you can set a charge limit to 85%? How long does it last on a full charge? The reviews don't talk about this or they rarely mention battery.

                                      Does anyone know if the display panel is identical to that of the a7 lite?
                                      I don't just mean size, resolution and ppi, but is actually the same panel and if not, what are the differences?
                                      Couldn't really find any info on this :(
