A nice device with powerful hardware, at least for games, videoconferances and brousing the net. However, on the days of android 14, I consider mine outdated. Getting a tab A8 2022 soon.

I used this tablet for almost two years.
The experience was good.
But the processor, the amount of RAM and especially the amount of storage are no longer enough for a user who uses a little more of the basics.
Too bad the magnetic connector doesn't work for a keyboard book cover.

The Tab A (2018), like basically every other Samsung Tab since time in immemorial, have came in one, of two flavors. The basic beytch Wi-Fi Version. Seemingly it's the one you have, and as such is missing the SIM Card / SMS Number needed to register to that service.
Then there is the 3G/4G, and presumably at the time of writing a 5G variant available whichhas the required radios, for making calls, and for registering on the WhatsApp Server. I know this as I have the SM-595 (LTE) Version of the SM-T590. Which is the non mobile version of the Tab A (2018).

Eefy, 31 Jul 2021I really love this tab and bought it 2 years ago. Unfortuna... moreI never had that problem on mine. I gave mine away as I bought tab s5e. Take to to a Samsung service centre. They will repair it. Or go on samsung members sent them a mgs. They will get back to you. If you haven't dropped it or anything then they might do a curtsey repair for you.

Maggi, 10 Jun 2020No. Doesn't support s pen. I really love this tab and bought it 2 years ago. Unfortunately, 2 months ago,it just went off. No sign, nothing. Took it for repair and I was told it’s the panel. Does anyone have a similar experience? Can anyone point me to where I can have this tab fixed? Please!!! I have a lot of work in there I need to retrieve
