Of course Tab A 8.0 more sluggish, screen not as bright as the Tab S2, the chips is mediocre and screen is not super amoled. But I am sure that you get what you paid for the tab.

I have just bought the A8.0 and am very disappointed. I have been using an S2 8.0 for the past few years, received my new A8.0, and I'm no expert but even I've noticed the lag. The display is muted in colour (S2 much more vibrant) and the screen is about 1cm narrower than the S2. I am hoping to send it back. Fingers crossed.

Theres only minor frame drop when youre out during rain and when your screen is zooming out. Overall it definitely is playable

Or ... moreYes you can, i wont say its lag, just not as smooth as octa core device with 3 gigs of ram, theres a minor frame drop when you're going outside while its raining outside and zooming out, so just keep the character in 'minimum zoom' to keep it stable. But it definitely is playable.

Annomous, 13 Apr 2020I really wish that this came in a 7 inch size.8.4" is not so big. Infact it's what I call "ideal" size. I have seen reviews where 8.4" can be held in one hand comfortably, I assume that it should fit in a standard trouser pocket (not skinny jeans). Currently I'm using a 10" tablet, that is big and heavy. I never plan to use such big size again.

can you install 2 Nano sim card for phone calls in the dual sim slot ? i.e. instead of the mircoSD card you install another nano sim, thus having 2 networking working in Samsung galaxy A8

Poor display and cameras, good battery. No smart face unlocking feature even with android 9.
