its a very good tablet,bought it one year ago,same performance,no lag no crashes,runing some medium games like minecraft,roblox,pubg.Its very very good for watching content and browsing,and its very good for multi tasking and for online jobs,its a value for performance tablet,i recommend buying for students and casual gamers.

The thing that surprises me the most is how this tablet costs over $200 and has the exact same chipset of the $70 Nokia 3.2

This was a great phablet, using it as tablet, phone, satnav...the lack of flash let it down but it was fine. However they very kindly keep doing updates...and the phone gets slower and more laggy. Now it is tow years old and barley usable.

Its a pretty Good tablet, I'd say thats its good for watching Youtube,movies and playing some light games because playing high graphic games on this is a bit of an issue, it kind of lags in call of duty mobile and asphalt 9 sometimes, And one thing i noticed is that switching between apps is hell,thats where it would lag alot. Other then that its a good non pricey tablet. It has great speakers and a good screen. It would really be appreciated if samsung could add a bit better cpu and a bit more ram in it instead of these 2014 specs lol.
This is the 3rd samsung tablet i bought and i think im gonna stick with samsung.

Just bought this (over my excellent huawei dtab d08h which screen was broken).
Sound is excellent enough, screen is sufficiently sharp to read ebooks....but it is LAGGY ...yes LAGGY when switching between apps. I cannot accept this, knowing that it is octa core 2ghz++ with 4gb memory. Samsung definitely has memory management issue. I open trading view and my broker apps in switch screen mode and it hardly update the prices streaming timely.

I have had this tablet for years. Got for my wife for Christmas. She wanted Apple so I got her a IPAD on a payment plan on my carrier. I decided to keep the Samsung for myself. I had small tablets before like a Nexus 7 I gave to my Mom. The Samsung is great for surfing the web and social media. I don't game that much anymore so would try it and then uninstall them. I noticed each year the tablet would get slower now it lags compared to newer phones. But not as bad as a PC. I payed off all my devices so I my get a IPAD.

I just bought this tablet, and it's pretty good! Though I did have to customize the settings a bit, to boost performance. It's really slow out of the box, but if you uninstall some of the bloatware and change minor developer settings, it uses up a little less power. Unfortunately, the Samsung UI takes up the most of the RAM and there isn't much to change that.

This tablet needs to be on always. If not, when on once in a while the whole tablet will lag like crazy due to the receiving notifications. Even updating apps took long. The touchscreen will lag too!

recently bought this 2nd-hand from a office friend last year 2021. It's slow (hence the SD429 proc and I got the 2gb version), its heavy/bulky (not for holding a long time)...i bought this tab not for heavy using or gaming, just good 'ol browsing, reading, watching videos. The stereo speakers are surprisingly loud tho~
As long as you don't go overboard ...it's a fine piece of machinery.
