      WARNING SCHEME
      Not compatible with other networks!
      So even though specifications state that cellular network is available... you can't use it with your network provider but have to sign up with Verizon!
      This is because its been modified with built-in's to force you to change network providers to access mobile data & cellular connection!
      The device is trash & highly vulnerable to water damage!
      Only 3 month warranty!
      Avoid at all cost!

        The Tab A7 got 2 OS updates (Android 11 and 12). Even the 2019 tablets, that being the Tab A 8.0 and 10.1 2019, got 2 OS updates (Android 10 and 11). Why did this one only get 1?

            Cheap and useable
            Good for daily use
            Ibispaint runs great if ur starting artist
            Flaws
            Spikes sometimes cuz 3gig ram with Android 11
            Only 20gig free storage
            Android 11 only

            Android 11 took 12+gig \ 20gig and under only free storage

              In January of 2023 I bought 3 of these used off eBay for $65 each after tax+fees. Today (May '24) the price looks the same or better. Not the fastest machines ever, but the wifi is solid and it's big enough for my tastes as an e-reader. If I needed more I'd be comfortable paying that price.

                Works good, processor and ram wise fine. Display is ery good with high pixels. Strange to see that no fast charging and no screen protection is provided. Slow charging sometimes annoying and screen protection lack is a negative point. Software and size or weight wise it is a good device for all purposes.

                      Slightly sluggish at times but for YouTube,Netflix, and streaming content, its perfect. Good enough to stream Xbox gamepass games and pairs via Bluetooth to your Xbox controller. Not going to do any heavy mobile games like Apex legends.

                        Grossly inferior to the 2014 Galaxy Tab S 8.4 - yes, you read that right. With a custom rom, the former simply performs better. I have 2 of the Tab A tabs through an AT&T promotion. The lag is awful. And the screen is just meh - I wouldn't pay $50 for this.

                            In USA. I've had / regretted since released.
                            Cell connectivity throughput is only good if next to a Verizon tower. There i get 20mbps, but NORMALLY gets 1mbps. Pitiful.
                            In addition, verizon tweaks Google apps such that the Android Auto app doesn't work. Google PLAY store confirms that.

                              the fact that they don't sell this in europe is downright depressing. everything checks out for a perfect midrange tablet, but you just can't have good things.
