Is this good for reading academic PDF books?
I like android and need a pen in my study, but the problem with samsung is the screen ratio.
No tablet with s-pen 4:3, the only one they released was galaxy tab s2 and i bought it but still missing the pen, so is this 5:3 near to that ratio?
I need the tablet for reading and studying PDF medical books exactly.
Thank you

Let's see how much Android tablet value has degraded since 2014. That was the year when Samsung released Tab S 10.5 for $500 which bought you an amazing AMOLED 2560x1440 screen, 3 GB RAM, 16 GB storage and a mediocre Exynos CPU that [barely] covered multitasking. The greatest disappointment was Samsung's Android security support. Last major Android upgrade was given in 2016. Last security update in 2017. Even though support was trash compared to iPad's 5+ years, the hardware and initial price was so good one could make the tradeoff.
Fast forward to 2020 and the $350 S6 Lite is in a class of one. There is literally no competing tablet all the others are cheaper garbage. Above it there's also only one option, Tab S6 at almost double the price. Software support will be the same old Samsung trash: 2-3 years from launch. The screen is immensely worse than AMOLED. RAM is artificially limited to only 4 GB (just 1 more than 6 years ago). Storage is very likely some crappy eMmc. The CPU, again mediocre, guaranteed to struggle with apps in 2 years at most.
The value of Android tablets is very low. The iPad is immensely more powerful, immensely better supported and cheaper. This is very disappointing.

I wish Samsung could make some premium 8 inch tabs

Depending on the price it might be my second tablet after not using a tablet for years. 4GB of RAM is enough for me, I don't care about LCD or OLED on my tablet, cause I won't be using it as much as my phone. However I want the s-pen support just like my Note8 has, but the Tab S6 is just way too expensive and not worth the price for me. This however with a good price will have my full attention.

Does the tablet support 4K video playback?

I think this is the device that I have been waiting. I always wanted a good android table comparable to iPad 7th Gen. It is too bad that I have bought iPad 2 weeks ago. I wish I knew this sooner. IPS screen is good enough for a mid range tablet I guess. I am just a huge Android fan who finds it odd to use iPad as my daily driver.
