Whi... moreIf you want or need an Spen then go with the S6 Lite. S5e does not have Spen.
Performance is very similar although S5e does has the edge for higher gaming and does come with an OLED screen.

Just had one of these in hands. Colors look lively, but bad viewing angles (distorted whites).

Features not available or limited on the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite are:
1. Double tap to wake up does not work on Tab S6 Lite
2. S Pen Translation feature does not work on Tab S6 Lite
3."Palm Swipe to capture gesture does not work on Tab S6 Lite
4. Game Launcher is not available on Tab S6 Lite
5. Microsoft Office is not available for free on the Tab S6 Lite
6. Samsung Pass is not available on the Tab S6 Lite
7. Vibration not available on Tab S6 Lite
I got these from the following Samsung site.

Some of these features are hardware specific which are acceptable ( Like the AMOLED displays, battery operated S Pen, etc) But reduction in Software features are not acceptable. ( I am not speaking of paid softwares from other software vendors ). Being a business management graduate, I accept that different products and product lines survive through product differentiation. But, my belief is that it should be hardware specific which would make the manufacturer sound professional. Moreover, this would make their UI sound more popular. If too many variants of products try to cannibalize the sales of the other, manufacturers should reduce the number of variants. Mobile manufactures have the opportunity to use a free Operating System. But, they feel reluctant to offer their UI features free. Though this tablet Samsung Galaxy S6 Lite is offered at a much lower price comparatively, it is definitely not offered free of cost. The most pitiable part is that their more costlier variant, Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e doesn't support S Pen. Excellent Product Development and Product Management. I definitely know, what Samsung would do the next time. They would simply cut down their S Pen and offer all their software features. Doesn't it sound great. But, what's the point. It is more profits?
