I recently bought a samsung tablet s 6 lite 2022 with 128 gb of memory and it was with android 13, but I received a p613xxs3bwe3 firmware update and that's why I'm asking if I should do it, since with it I change the interface and protections are put with these upgrades. Will it start lagva and will any functions be cut from these constant updates, although it says that the android is being improved and that errors are being fixed. If anyone is familiar, please share.

I love everything about this tab. But the screen is a bit too large to carry outside. I really wish Samsung will upgrade our lovely P205. I end up keeping my P205 and still use it sometimes to read manga and take notes during meeting, although the screen has been broken and replaced with non-original screen. I don't know why people criticizing this P619 screen. I think the screen is good, definitely an upgrade from my old P205.

I believe this is Android 10+ feature. It was in the case when the update failed and causing problem such as boot loop and stuff.

Your experience, and recommendation not to buy, is not typical of most buyers. Either you received a defective unit -- and ALL manufacturers have some defective units -- or some other factors are in play. Potential buyers should not be deterred by this review.

I got the SM-P613NZAMXAR model (bought at Walmart for $249) and it comes with a Snapdragon 732G instead of the 720G. Thought it was worth mentioning here since there is probably a little more power with the 732G.

This is the worst tablet I've ever bought. It's expensive for what it is and has disappointing software, which is very controlling and loaded with, IMO, useless apps that consume space and battery life and won't even let you uninstall them. It's operating system takes up so much space you would think there was two in there.
The screens not very good and it's hard to hold It's very sharp and cold. The battery life isn't fantastic Actually for the size of it,7000 ma it's it's very average I think.
Not happy at all with it.

I currently use Galaxy Tab A 8.0 with S Pen. It has 8" screen, 3GB RAM & 32GB internal memory. I want to get new tab with bigger RAM and bigger internal memory.
This Galaxy Tab S6 Lite seems like a good choice because it has 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory, and it also includes an S pen (which Galaxy Tab A7 Lite doesn't). Unfortunately, the the 10.4" screen is too big for me to carry around. I wish Samsung could produce a new tab with same capacity as S6 Lite, with an S pen, but with a smaller screen (about 8 to 8.5").
Galaxy Tab A7 Lite has 8.7" screen, 4GB RAM & 64GB internal memory, but it doesn't include S pen.

Raja, 03 Feb 2023Can any MicroSD card make below 1 TB work with Samsung S6 ... moreJust get any you can afford from reputable brands. Though I am not sure if Sandisk still has issues with Samsung devices but that was during my Note 3 days.

and even way back, we were using 1Gb to 2Gb RS-MMC on Nokia Symbian phones even if the sellers insist they can only accept 64mb or 128mb/

And what is useless for you is useful to another person. You're falling into the same trap as Iphone 4 users who kept insisting that 16gb is more than enough, so much Apple released an 8GB model. lmao

Good thing a microsd card slot exists.

polish princess, 22 May 2023is it worth getting this over the a8? or is is not much of ... moreBetter than A8, i just did a CEX swap. A8 is functional but this seems to have a wider screen viewing angle, faster processor with a longer support window and it has the pen. Think of the s6 lite as the model with the slightly bigger engine, leather seats and alloy wheels...

And it's not even that much more expensive. Actually in some stores, the a8 64-4gb is more expensive than the s6 lite 2022. Even the s6 lite 2020 is way better than the a8.

However I find it quite difficult to find covers of good quality and the official one is quite expensive. And finally just in case, there's no official cover with keyboard for it.

Anonymous, 07 May 2023What about s6lite vs ipad 9th gen, What I am liking about... moreI have each of my feet in different ecosystems right now, and I decided to go for the S6 Lite because the 128GB model was on sale for the same price as the 64GB iPad (2021). On the other foot, I have an iPhone SE (2022), which we can all agree isn't that good of a value (64GB base model is a crime, regardless of the A15 Bionic) but I got a comically good deal so I'm pretty happy with it. It has performance when I need it and when I don't, it's efficient enough that the tiny battery still manages to outlast my S10e when browsing Reddit.

Anyway, the SD 720G is "good enough," I would say. There's some occasional stutters, but nothing that I would consider frustrating. Sure, it's not very powerful. In fact, streaming YouTube at 4K is a struggle for it (but weirdly enough, it doesn't even break a sweat at 1440p60 HDR; the device stays completely cool to the touch. I wonder if it's some sort of limitation with how high a resolution the SD 720G can hardware decode or something). But, as a note-taking and streaming device it works sufficiently. Actually, as of the latest updates (and especially after making sure all the Google Play system updates are installed, which you have to do manually, one by one, with a reboot after each update), app transitions have gotten noticeably smoother. Previously, it would stutter every time you use the gesture to close out of the app. It's much more graceful now, only having the occasional dropped frame.

Samsung Notes is just OK. It can take notes just fine but when you try to export it as PDF, all the nice vector lines that look smooth when you zoom in with Samsung Notes turns pixelated when you view that PDF in another app. Ideally, it should continue looking smooth in other PDF apps, PDF is capable of vector graphics. Said other app is perfectly capable of rendering vector lines because other PDFs that aren't from Samsung Notes have sharp lines no matter how far you zoom in.

Can't comment on Dex because I don't think a desktop layout would work great on a touchscreen device. Otherwise I would've gotten a used Surface tablet that runs Windows, which is infinitely more versatile in terms of what I can do on it (especially visual novels, I've been getting into those). The normal One UI tablet interface is powerful enough for me.

G, 04 Dec 2022I agree with you but your talking about vs a midrange table... moreWhat about s6lite vs ipad 9th gen,
What I am liking about this tab:
                                        1. Spen no need to charge etc, also light weight and better.
                                        2. Dex mode looks cool and more productive.
                                        3. External storage option
                                        4. I have Android ecosystem also Samsung phone so better connectivity.
                                        5. Better pricing, getting it at 245$ 64gb vs ipad 320$ with need to buy apple pencil separately, or any cheap alternative.
                                        6. Sam notes is just grt.

Why want to go for ipad:
                                        1. Processing power is big jump, I am not sure abou this 720g processor and how it'll handle serious note taking like for longer term.l, also will it get slower with time.
                                        2. Polished ui with no lag.
                                        3. Investing in anything means atleast 4-5 yrs,so that way this is grt.

                                        Guys, these r tough ones.
