Now, the FLAGSHIP Samsung Galaxy s8 tab completely smokes the latest I pad in every single way possible. First off it's Super Amoled and has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Soc. The software is better considering the fact that you can sideload applications. I could go on and on but I believe I made my point

A TFT LCD is an active matrix LCD, in contrast to passive matrix LCDs or simple, direct-driven (i.e. with segments directly connected to electronics outside the LCD) LCDs with a few segments.
TFT types:
TN (fast responding; gamer displays)
IPS (good viewing angles)
PLS (Close to IPS)
MVA PVA VA (good black value)
Most LCD types are using LED backlight, as the LCD itself does not emit any light.
Some manufacturers advertise with these as "LED display" and so, create confusion.
Now OLED is NOT an TFT type:
An organic light-emitting diode (OLED or organic LED), also known as organic electroluminescent (organic EL) diode, is a light-emitting diode (LED) in which the emissive electroluminescent layer is a film of organic compound that emits light in response to an electric current.
So OLED emits its own light and does not need a backlight.
OLED is quite different from a regular LED unit too btw.

Just bought this for 270 euro with the black friday discount. For that price there is nothing comparable. Wanted a l0 inch tablet with a pen. Very happy!

The screen quality is horrible on this device.
I know it's budget for a little more the Lenovo p11 pro gen 2 has slightly larger screen and screen quality is a huge upgrade.

Order it along with seperate cover and sreen guard.
If you get cover inside box then return the cover bought/ordered seperately.
It will be better if you purchase from offline store rather than online....but,better go with your own choice.

This tablet cost 350EUR in my country. Even though it looks better than the previous model, being that now has SD720G chipset inside, overall, I think is not worth the 350EUR price tag. I think Lenovo offers better tablets in the same price range.

I am seriously thinking about buying this tablet on black friday, I like the idea that an s pen is included, however I have a doubt, and that is that in some unboxings it shows that the tablet comes with a cover, and in others it does not, there are any way to know if it comes with a cover? I plan to buy it on amazon.

It's funny to a point where it's sad. Too many people here are just spec nerds who have little to no experience using this tablet for what it's best at. This is an EXCELLENT device for taking notes for the price. And if you are smart enough, or have good amount of experience, you will know what most of Samsung's product goes on sale pretty regularly. Also, if you've tried multiple notes taking app, you will know Samsung Note is one of the best and arguably the best for a free app. Not even mentioning the fact that the S-Pen is also included in the box, but I guess it doesn't mean anything for internet nerds who doesn't know how to write or draw. Regardless, for anything other than notes taking, this is not the device and no one (including me) can deny that. Multitasking should also be avoided since DeX experience isn't great here.
So TLDR, this is a bargain at its discounted price for notes taking.
Bonus, 4GB is too little if you take notes with a few Chrome tabs, to avoid this, just use Samsung's default web app, you will be surprised how good it is.

Wish samsug would come up with another tablet like the s5e.
Another midrange tablet with amoled. But a better processor and no wifi issues. There are only very few tablets with amoled.
