seem ok-ish so I orderred on s... moreReplying to myself : 1380 is bad. Respite all marketing year after year exynls promises, it's stutter drain heat more than ever.
Benchmark are just benchmarks, especially in regards to tensoshyte.
I wish they could compete and stop that tsmc monopolistic but Samsung is a lazy bureaucracy now.
Also the pencil, dispainting. The software with that right menu bar poping in when we don't want to, the lag for the pen to reacts with screen, it's all not good. Like ab old 8bit computer pen on a crt about the lag, exageratedly, it's that feeling. And It doesn't work with regular apps , i.e you can't write a text in messenger. I knew it certainly won't, apple pencil is same afaik. even so, it's disappointing.
Looks nice design with a glaring screen. under the hood, it's hollycrap.

Nikker, 21 Dec 2024S9 Fe does have DexUpps, never mind the criticism. You stated that the tablet does have DEX, which is absolutely correct- I somehow just misread the post. My bad.

Nikker, 21 Dec 2024S9 Fe does have DexWell that's not true, in fact the Tab S9 FE *does have* DEX functionality. I know for sure because I've been using DEX since I purchased the tablet.
But, because the tablet does only have a USB 2 connector (without video output), you are not able to hook it up to an external monitor. Yet, using external input devices (e.g. USB hub, keyboard, mouse) does not pose any problem.

not sure about exynos 1380.
seem ok-ish so I orderred on sale and I'll give it a try and return if it's bad.
expected to have stutter on dayli user and heat + battery drain while some multitask or gaming.

So S7 FE has dex and S9 FE doesn't?? No way, don't buy this. I understand A series not getting it obviously, but this is S series. I think the function might not be there due to exynos processor compared to superior Snapdragon on S7 FE.

I have just recently purchased this tablet and am impressed with the tablet's capabilities and quality of build. It is a solid device with better capabilities than I expected; (I'm currently using it with an offline AI chatbot app), as offline AI chat models are known to be resource hogs, generally, I thought it would be a good way to test the tablet's hardware by installing an AI app and running a couple models through the system, as it were, to see how fast, (if at all) I was able to get responses from them. I was not really able to tell the difference in output, (using the Private AI's Rocket AI model), between the S9 FE and my S24 Phone. I wasn't doing a side by side comparison but, I only mean that the prompt generated replies were pretty quick, unlike what I thought to expect from a slower and less capable than a Snapdragon 8 gen 3 (AI ready) processor would be able to do. Whatever positive reviews you find about this tablet are, they are most likely true. I'm pretty happy with this tablet - in qualification though, I do want to say that I am using the 8GB RAM version, rather than the 6GB one. I would have gone with the 12GB version Tab S9, if I could but afford it. The S9 FE was the one within my (Bidenomics) budget.

S9 FE is WAYY better in every single aspect imaginable, even compared to a tab A9+ it has way better screen, speakers, build quality, cameras (especially the front cam), not to mention s-pen and more proper accessories
