Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Buds FE announced

Samsung is expanding its Fan Edition lineup today with the Galaxy S23 FE smartphone which we already covered and it’s joined by a couple of new Tab S9 FE tablets and a pair of wireless earbuds dubbed Galaxy Buds FE.

Galaxy Tab S9 FE series actually includes two sizes – a 10.9-inch Tab S9 FE and a 12.4-inch Tab S9 FE+ in both Wi-Fi only and 5G trims. The Galaxy tablets feature IPS LCDs with FHD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. You also get Samsung’s Vision Booster for improved viewing in outdoor environments and dual speakers with Dolby Atmos. Both Tab S9 FE versions are IP68-rated and come bundled with the S Pen stylus which is also water and dust-resistant.

Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE+

Samsung is using its Exynos 1380 chipset paired with 6/8 GB RAM on the Tab S9 FE and 8/12 GB on the FE+ model. Storage is either 128 GB or 256 GB on both versions and you can expand it via the microSD card slot.

In terms of cameras, both tablets feature 12 MP ultrawide front-facing shooters with a 120˚ field of view and an 8 MP primary rear module. Tab S9 FE+ gets an added 8 MP ultrawide module on the back. Tab S9 FE gets an 8,000 mAh battery while the Plus model receives a 10,000 mAh cell. Both support up to 45W fast charging, but you’ll need to provide your own charging brick.

The Galaxy Tab S9 FE series comes in Mint, Silver, Gray and Lavender colors. Pricing for the Tab S9 FE starts at €529 in Europe while the Tab S9 FE+ is €699. The 5G models are €100 extra.

Prices for India are ₹36,999 and ₹46,999 respectively.

Samsung Galaxy Buds FE are the most affordable wireless earbuds from Samsung to date with a starting price of $99/€109/₹9,999. They offer active noise cancelation (ANC), Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity with auto switching between paired devices and up to 21 hours of total playtime with their charging case.

Galaxy Buds FE come in Graphite and White

The buds support the AAC and SBC audio codecs and offer integrated touch controls. Each earbud gets 3 microphones with two outer ones and one more on the inside. Samsung is bundling the Buds FE with three different-sized silicone ear tips and two additional wingtips for better fit.

Battery life is rated at 6 hours of playtime with ANC on which extends to 21 hours with the charging case and its 479 mAh battery. Galaxy Buds FE come in Graphite and White colors.
