Anonymous, 23 Nov 2016Pease I need to upgrade the andriod version but howYou can force a new OS in (not an expert on ROMS, so you'll have to do research on that), but putting in a newer Android OS will most likely cause wacky effects or worse--completely brick the device.

Upgrade ur t849 to a gt-1000 with the cyanogen software and u can make calls and have a 4.0.4 Android version

different modem drivers.
One for 2G only allows calling and texting and slow data,
the one for 2G & 2G allows data and texting but no calling.
They are called JMF, JPZ or JK3.
Never use JK3: it does not do anything.

You can flash this firmware and so you can have a dialer.
You can have your Tab even with Android Jelly Bean.
