Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event's location for Fold5 and Flip5 unveiling confirmed

We've heard rumors claiming Samsung would hold its Galaxy Unpacked event to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5 in South Korea instead of the US or Europe. Those rumors have turned out to be true since Samsung has officially confirmed that the next Galaxy Unpacked event will be hosted in South Korea.

This confirmation comes from Lee Young-hee, the President of Samsung DX's Global Marketing Center. Lee Young-hee said the Galaxy Unpacked event will be held in Seoul, South Korea, and when asked about the reason for hosting it in South Korea, Young-hee said, "Because Korea is meaningful and important."

Lee Young-hee neither revealed the date nor the venue of the Galaxy Unpacked event, but rumors claim it will happen on July 26 at COEX in Gangnam-Gu, Seoul.

Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5 foldable smartphones at this Unpacked event, along with the Galaxy Watch6 series. We might also see the Korean conglomerate unveil its mixed reality (MR) headset at this event, but not much is known about it.
