Samsung starts testing One UI 8 Watch beta for the Galaxy Watch5 and Watch5 Pro

The recently announced Samsung Galaxy Watch8 and Galaxy Watch8 Classic run One UI 8 Watch, which will be rolled out for older Galaxy Watches in the coming months. The list of Galaxy Watches eligible for the One UI 8 Watch upgrade also includes the Galaxy Watch5 and Galaxy Watch5 Pro, and Samsung has started testing the One UI 8 Watch beta builds for these watches, bringing them a step closer to release.

The One UI 8 Watch beta firmwares for the Galaxy Watch5 and Galaxy Watch5 Pro spotted on Samsung's servers have firmware versions R905NK0U1CYCD and R925NK0U1CYCD, respectively.

These firmwares are for the South Korean models of both smartwatches, and the tipster who spotted them claims the One UI 8 Watch beta program for the Galaxy Watch5 and Galaxy Watch5 Pro will be available in the US and South Korea only.
