Purchased Watch 5 Pro in Dec 2023. Unfortunately it has developed a white vertical line in middle of the watch screen all of a sudden without any impact on the screen. Is Samsung covering a free display replacement for this model as Display line appearing within 1.5 years is not acceptable for a high value device like this.

Hello. 1 and a half years of usage out of this watch and i can recommend it to anyone that wants a durable watch with solid build quality (titanium case and sapphire stuff face), 4 to 5 days of battery life (same as the first day i got it).
Don't use costume watch faces, as i find this to be the main cause for lag, i am betting that most people that accuse performance issues on this watch are utilising Faceit app, which i can assure you is the problem as the watch is not that powerful procesor wise.
I am also not using the allways on display option nor the turn on when move wrist.
Am mostly using the watch to count steps, to check sleep related stats and quick check notifications when i am bussy as to only take out my phone from the pocket whsre i keep it for necessary messages from work, nkt for every random a$$ amazon offers that i could not care less :)

Battery life on my LTE Watch5 Pro is only one day after the latest update. Hate it when updates do this.

My Watch5 Pro has become laggy and after I make the changes in Developer mode (animation etc from 1x to 0) it reverts back to 1x after a while on it's own. Do you think that is a defect or normal behaviour? On my Sammy phone the changes made in Developer mode stay put.

Galaxy Wear app updated in India yesterday to support ONE UI 6.0. Hopefully an update for watch 5 pro is imminent.

Of late my Watch 5 Pro shows less than 2 days of battery on a full charge. This used to be 3 days plus last month. My watch is less than 6 month old. Any pointers?

For those still sitting on the fence there are some great prices now (if any left) for the Watch 5 pro, it is a bargain, big battery, mine lasts 3 days or 3.5. Light Titanium body.
Also the new Watch 7 Ultra has that square round look, and a few extra software features in Samsung Health, a slightly faster chip set, but the Ultra Battery is the same size of W5 Pro of 590mAh.

My Recommendation is that you go with the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro, you also get 2 days of battery life, but the charge is way so much faster and you actually feel the Google OS Expierence.
