Samsung Galaxy Watch7 receives One UI 8 Watch Beta 4 update

Samsung has released the fourth One UI 8 Watch Beta update for the Galaxy Watch7. It has firmware version L310XXU1ZYI2 and requires a download of 180MB.

The screenshot of the update's changelog posted on Samsung's community forum reveals that the One UI 8 Watch Beta 4 for the Galaxy Watch7 comes with improvements for fitness tracking, such as running and swimming. Additionally, the update bumps up the security patch level on the smartwatch to September 2025.

The One UI 8 Watch Beta 4 for the Samsung Galaxy Watch7 is available in South Korea, and the rollout should hopefully expand to other countries soon.

If you are a Galaxy Watch7 user who is enrolled in the beta program and lives in South Korea and haven't received the One UI 8 Watch Beta 4 update yet, you can check for it manually by opening the Wearable app on your paired Android device and heading to the Watch settings > Watch software update menu.

They have destroyed the watches with the new pill UI, it looks awful and you cannot read any information. A complete mess. A pill shaped tile on a circular face, who thought that looks good or doesn't waste 50% of the available space? Looks even...

Strange that the watch 7 is getting a September 2025 security patch while recently the Watch Ultra and Watch8 got the August one. I was left under the impression that these patches are released by Google on a quarterly basis or something like that.
