        So there are no other O2 owners who can't connect?
        To me it is your network not Samsung, UK like all telco phone providers use a set of Government approved frequency bands to transmit on, 4G or 5G (most 2 and 3Gs are shutdown and or frequencies reused).
        Your phone provider App on your phone should sync with watch.
        BTW: You did originally purchase your SGWU inside the UK? and not purchased from another country, like USA?
        If you did this would give you connection issues, the made for US hardware does not use the same frequencies as UK.

          I dont know about you but im verry dissapointed about new ultra watch.im in UK and im using O2 network.IT DOESNT WORK WITH O2.AND I HEARD THERE ARE OTHER NEWTWORKS WICH ARE NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THE NEW WATCH.
          After 3 weeks of trying making it work,over 50 calls to O2 and Samsung.i went to samsung stores and O2 stores they finally said of the record that samsung knows about this issue but they are still selling it.even O2 is.selling the new ultra watch and they know the watch is not compatible with their network.
          SHAME ON SAMSUNG AND O2

            I bought the Titanium Silver with the white marine band. The band is bulky for my tiny arm but it's still comfortable. I'm very pleased with my SGU watch.

              have 2 wrists with tattoo... watch don't read the HR sensor and the finger gestures as it says ''put on the watch first'' switched off the wrist detection but still the problem remains... SAMSUNG FIX THIS ISSUE!!

                Well I thought I would give my opinion after using the Watch Ultra for a month. Remember I came from a Watch 5 Pro with same capacity battery. As watch users know with Wear OS all the watches from 4, 5, 6 and 7 use basically the same Apps and OS.
                I don't see any worse Battery life, depending on what I do I am seeing 4 days of use from full to 10%.
                As for day to day use I am blown away just how fast and smooth the Watch Ultra is, Samsung says the all new chipset is 30% faster, well to me it is 50%. Apps and updates install way faster, the functionality with the larger screen makes a huge difference and ease of use. The look, this watch is very comfortable on wrist and really does look great, not cheap looking at all, I got the Silver/gray version. If you are sitting on the fence, just get it. No regrets at all.

                  ONLY the outer button bezel trim around watch body is plastic to the color. Watch bands click into the solid push and lockin method, no pins.

                    There simply is no compaison, the GWU has a larger capacity, is faster and does more than Samsungs original all time best selling phone the Galaxy S5. The only thing this GWU does not do is actually take a picture through a lens.
                    Oh yeah, I can make calls and receive calls, make and receive SMS.
                    Buy goods and services.
                    Check my health, monitor heart, distance walked, Run or Bike, do BP, sleep monitor.
                    Check plane flight details.
                    Do emails and gmails.
                    Fall detection.
                    Emergency SOS calling.
                    Etc,
                    Etc,
                    And yes I use these features.

                      Ugly, 13 Aug 2024The ugliest watch everYes I thought that also, I don't like the orange band,
                      So I bought the silver version with gray band.
                      Once you actually see it and wear it, wow it is fabulous.
                      And I am coming from W4C and W5Pro.
                      This GWU is so smooth to use, the larger screen is perfect size and new chip set is fast, pairs extremely well with my S24U 1TB phone.
                      Yes it is expensive, but looks and features cost money, other GW look cheap in comparison.
                      Very happy with purchase.

                        The ugliest watch ever

                          Non Samsung phone can't install samsung health monitor app from play store (it won't show up).
                          This is needed for real time monitoring.
                          There are some other differences in the galaxy wear app, between Samsung and non Samsung phones, which seem unnecessary (like requiring only WiFi, vs allowing mobile data to keep the watch auto updated). Hopefully this is just an oversight

                            Also if I go for the ultra I can't decide if I want the titanium grey or titanium silver... They both look very similar!! 🤔

                              On Watch 5 pro i could turn off Daily Activity notification in Developer mode.
                              But on the Ultra this function is not in developer mode anymore.
                              So HOW do I turn it off ? This is an annoying notification.
                              Help anyone

                                I've been tempted to upgrade to this watch from my OnePlus Watch 2. Glad to see it has a bigger battery!
