Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra and Galaxy Watch7 receive first software update

Samsung's Galaxy Watch7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra were both announced at the company's big July 10 event, and they went on sale last week. Now, Samsung is pushing the first software update for both. If you haven't received yours yet, then this update should be waiting for you when you take your new Watch7 or Watch Ultra out of the box.

As is usually the case with first ever updates, this one isn't huge - it focuses on improving stability and performance and fixing bugs.

After applying the update, your Galaxy Watch7 will be on version L310XXU1AXG2, while the Watch Ultra gets L705FXXU1AXFB. The former arrives over-the-air as a 173.51MB download, the latter weighs in at a heftier 330.59MB.

If you have either watch and haven't received the update notification yet, head on over to the Galaxy Wearable app on your phone, and then go to Watch settings > Watch software update.
