People just dont understand what type of phone is that, even if its overpriced, just wait for 6 months and price in EU will be 400$. For example, regular Xcover 7 costs here 260$ with warranty, i think its quite good for such phone.

Downgraded to USB 2.0 and not available w... moreKeep in mind that some of the specs here are not even rumors - GSMArena has just taken the old XCover7 page to fill in the gaps. There has been nothing about a 64GB version of the Pro, and online shops only list it with 128GB so far (like https://yritystietokoneet.fi/samsung-galaxy-xcover7-pro-128gb/cat-p/c/p1005897898). Same with USB; the old XCover7 had just USB 2.0, hence that is on the page here, but as far as I can tell nothing is actually known about what the Pro will get.

However, I must admit that if the rumored specs of the XCover7 Pro turn out to be correct, then it is an extremely weak offering that makes little sense for the individual buyer.

                            I don't get it, a rugged phone except it's bad.. on purpose? The battery should be 2x the size, better SoC and better cameras like night vision, thermals and periscope. That's the least they can do for €600.
                            I saw the Ulefone Armor 28 ultra at €649 once, and that thing is nearly 4x the specs compared to this e-waste from samsung

                              I like the phone but I'd rather they used the bezel for front camera instead of the notch. Used a better battery, at least 7+ Gen 3 or 8s Gen 3 with a Base 8GB RAM and 256GB UFS 4.0 if not 8s Gen 4, a simple 1080×2160 120hz OLED, a better Battery and USB 3.1. that's more worthy of the price. It would sell like Hot cakes on a Sunday morning.

                              It doesn't help that Samsung does not release Xcover lineup in most countries.

                              If you wanna hold someone accountable, do it to SAMSUNG.

                                        LosEstupido, 07 Apr 2025giving only 6GB Ram to the 7s Gen 3 is just criminalIndeed, the rumored specs show barely any upgrade over the three (!) year old XCover6 Pro, and it is difficult to see how Samsung would want to maintain such a limited XCover7 Pro for much more than a year. I hope the rumors got it wrong.
