There is no sense in these foldable flips as long as they are thicker that 10mm folded. With such a thickness they are just not any convenient that regular smartphones.

        I had used Flip 4 for almost a year and I have now purchased the Flip 5 after exchanging Flip 4.

        The Flip 4 was a regular Android phone with bad cameras. The only Pro feature was that it folded half and it was great to keep in the pockets and also felt good when using. The cover screen was just like a smart watch screen. Good only for notifications.

        Issues faced: In the last month, the phone worked when it was in closed state. Once opened, it re-started.
        Samsung replaced the main inner screen with the frame and batteries except the back panels. They said, there was an issue with the hinge.

        Flip 5: is replica of Flip 4 with the same cameras. However, the Pro feature is the new flex display. The new big display makes the phone more usable without opening the phone. After installing the Good Lock, many apps can be installed on the Flex screen.
        Photos can be framed better and overall the phone looks and feels good

                  Can't believe people actually buy these things. They're so mediocre and this folding orientation is a gimmick.

                      Kinda weird how stubborn Samsung is about AF on ultrawide cameras when literal midrange phones have it.

                          I forgot to mention that he even put dust into the hinges on the exterior of the phone, and it still survives.

                          It's not officially dust resistant, but it still can resist some dust.

                          Stop trying to hate on Samsung Z flip 5.

                            Foldables are still too thick. I need a foldable thinner that 12 mm in folded state. Even at the expense of battery life and camera performance. It would provide a real size and volume benefits compared to regular smartphones.

Get a Z Flip 3/4/5 and tell me how the display held up after like 10-12 months, I won't be surprised. Foldable screens are the future, but they aren't ready yet.
