Huge Loss. I felt deceived
I purchased samsung galaxy Fold 4 in September 2022. Used it for one year and in September 2023 I purchased iPhone. It was sparingly used after that, mostly it remained switched off and kept with proper care. To my surprise first its wifi stopped working in January 2024 and after two months its outer screen stopped working and very next day its main screed went blank. Now this phone has become a brick.
Most of samsung fold phone users are having similar type of experiences.
A huge amount was spent on this phone and it worked properly only far a year. Very sad on part of samsung and now I am hating samsung for making such a defective product.

Brilliant foldable. But wouldn't buy yet. Reasons below
1.No Internal expandable Microsd support(I know why Samsung doesn't do it due to slowing phone down. Last good was S20 ultra) but still want it. 😎I'm aware manufacturers are pursuing it again.
2. No 3.5mm audio jack.
3. FM radio hardware(including recording).not just internet radio(emergency reasons good to have.
4. Satellite service. Apple and Huawei have it also another favourite of mine Armor 23 ultra which does have it. Good for emergency reasons again.
5. Hdmi input or the ability to to use foldable as external monitor for eg. Pc ,laptop,Xbox etc. very useful if your monitor breaks or don't have one. Sony Xperia pro had it,not aware of any others. (Phones can use hdmi capture cards or usb devices but it's not the same performance though unless I haven't found the right one yet.
6. Night vision camera like a favourite of mine Armor 23 ultra. Very handy too.
The features mentioned above would make it the ultimate Foldable and of the normal smartphones. Id replace my laptop(maybe not as it's a gaming laptop and smartphones can't compete with AAA gaming experience yet but I'd use the foldable as a external monitor though). But wishful thinking,but maybe one day. Smartphones have come so far in features and tech.

Battery life is great but it can be better (around 8.30/h sot) with 15% left in the end of the day.
Speakers are awesome with good bass and very loud and clear sound.
Charging in 45w is ok-ish 10 percent in 10 min.
Do i need to comment the software? Well i'd like to say that is the best software for foldable and overall the best software in the market right now.I will not even comment galaxy ai features that are on different level.
Hardware also is the best sd 8 gen 2 for galaxy the most powerfull chipset in 2023 even better then the original sd 8 gen 2 with combination of 12 gb ram this thing is more powerfull than most PCs nowadays.

By far the best phone I've ever had battery has been amazing for me easily a full days use with 30 percent left when going to bed and getting 6 to 8 hours screen on time depending if I smash out so cod mobile
Cameras are fine for my needs in actually think they are great I came from a Oppo find X 5 pro and I think the z folds cameras are better
People complain about the outter display being to small I have massive hands and I can easily use the front display and I hate hearing people complaining about it so much I use mine open more then closed isn't that the reason on why you get the phone for a larger display so use it !
Performance is amazing so fast plays any game running multiple apps great speakers best phone for mult media consumption
Also in my opinion z fold is by far the best foldable years of optimisation and perfecting the durability and software support you can't go wrong!

Great phone for me
I think the foldables are the best ones, had Samsung s23 u, had iphones for a lot of time, for me a foldable phone is the best thing invented, I would buy a iphone fold. Till then this is the best phone for me.

Take my suggestion please never buy any phone upon atleast 3-4 months of release as during that time whatever issues feedbacks they get they fix in the next production so a later manufactured device is safe without issues now if you buy zfold 5 most recent production manufactured you won't find any issues infact whenever you purchase 6-7 months later its a better deal in reduced price and also fixed from all issues
