Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5's teardown shows its shock dispersion layer

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 unveiled last month is a minor update over last year's Fold4. However, it now uses a new hinge mechanism for a gapless design and also comes with a shock dispersion layer under the flexible folding screen, which we see in the YouTube channel JerryRigEverything's Fold5 teardown video that you can watch below.

Uh what? Is this what the gadget bubble has regressed into? Denialist people refusing to follow technology news? Foldables has been mainstream since 2020. Something you ought to know very well, spending most of your "free" time hating on it...
