Can any long time Fold user ... morei remember getting my z fold 5 couple months after it launched in november 23, so have had it since then. the hinge is still solid and no signs of weakening yet, and this thing has been opened and closed by me every single day id say on average 20-30 times a day. It has been constantly turned on ever since purchasing, only ever turned off a couple times when it went dead cos i forgot to plug the charger in while watching youtube while going to bed. the battery still feels like it's holding it's own, but i have since owning it rarely ever let it drop to below 15% and i always set it to stop charing at 80%, and over time the results are pretty good, it's definetely still a very healthy battery after all this time and if i continued those habits i think i could easily have this for 5-6 years before even noticing some slight deterioration in the battery. everything else is pretty good, not much to complain about. every game runs fine, but intensive gfx games do make it run hotter, which i dont like, so i tend to just find the best graphics i like with the least temps being produced. if you are a big gamer like on call of duty mobile or warzone i would suggest finding a z fold phone cooler that extends to cover the whole back of the phone and one cooler block with the fan, that will keep it cold to the touch and thats what you want, heating up phone in gaming brings on thermal throttling and fps lag and it ruins your battery over time. i have however had a spigen back and front case on it since buying, including the spigen screen protector that fits inside the front case frame for this phone, so the phone itself is still mint since new but you dont see that beauty in the design ever. but i think thats a good trade off... it cost me £1650 to buy it and ive only dropped it on hard surfaces 2 times by accident and that case saved it. guaranteed if you drop this phone or any foldable naked on a hard surface like tarmac, tile, brick, ceramic, it's not gonna survive. so unless you hold a phone like a gun, where you NEVER drop a gun, and you are that disciplined, you need the case.

My mum has been using the z flip 3 since release and she has only just had to upgrade due to battery life and the screen begining to break. She has no issues for the last 3 years, she loved it.

Can any long time Fold user ... moreHi you can trust us in your decision as thousands of mobiles are tested used 24 7 in everyway you cannot even imagine. A phone will easily last you 5 years plus nowadays very good flagship level phones and make but fold phones will have something or the other 3rd 4th year guaranteed. It does need some maintainence expenses its unavoidable but the new oppo fold n5 looks like 4 years sure no problem its damn good built. From software ui samsung makes very good no doubt but trust me this was maybe till 2024 max. Now you can buy from so many good choices other than samsung as they are not worth the price for now as the display they use just color rich this that but are worst for eyes and outdated battery with new phones coming with older parts of specs and superslow charging with no proper high cooling like others offering. Switch to flagships biggest screen phone offerings from oppo honor oneplus vivo. You will never go back to samsung iphone xiaomi etc its a challenge i stand by it just make sure the storage is 512gb with 12 or 16gb ram and you are good to go 6 years easily with your new phone. Would love some help here!
Can any long time Fold user please give us an honest review of these phones reliability? Not just the Samsung ones, any folds from other brands help here.
I'm looking to upgrade from an A52s to a Fold6 or S25U and I'm rather concerned of the folds screen and hinge longevity more than its battery or performance over time, and I believe that's the case for most people looking to get one of these.
Many reviews of the phone seem to be from people who only recently got theirs so they aren't exactly reliable reviews - "Been happily using the fold for 5 months now!" - doesn't exactly help with a decision - and YouTube phone reviewers who get these and use them for a month before switching to their main driver or just repeat the spec sheet don't help either.

If you plan on using the phone in it's open state its gonna eat up more battery, and in comparison to a s24/25U the battery isn't gonna last as long. Same will likely go for the upcoming Fold 7.
There is an official Samsung case that has a integrated Spen into it, both the inner and outer screen should work with such pen. But it's pretty much just a plastic stick in comparison to an actual Spen with electronics inside it.
The Spen from another device may not work with the Fold as they *may be configured* for the specific phones they take part of, but again, there is a separate Spen you can buy from Samsung, called the Spen Pro, which is an actual Spen, bluethooth and all, unlike the one in the case I mentioned before, it has it's own "case" in which it charges its battery.

Been using samsung fold 6 for 6 months it's been okay so far. But the screen not really smooth and the thing is nothing spectacular about this phone which i don't think it's worthy to but it at such an expensive price. Battery drainage is quiet high as well and sometimes overheating.

Samsung should launch phones beyond a single crease. [Looking down from top edge] some genius AI must have rendered prototypes with multiple folds: "9", "e", "s", "6", "M", "w", and of course "z". Time to punt the two separate displays and go for it. If Huawei was a clean Google phone.

Oh wowzers... so note, i used all the memory up with Capcut but i though it was the app issue, then after enabling RAM plus (8GB) the app ran more stable...
I may be the very few people who actually uses their phone to their maximun potential 💀
Also, i still love this phone's design!!

I love this fold 6.but I am worry about the green line issue about samsung previous phone model.will this happens? My fold 3 got this green line when I upgrade the software.

I'm thinking of switching to Z6 or wait for Z7 from Note. But coz. of 4400 mAh which is small in size, I don't want battery anxiety every day if it is draining fast and not lasting for a
day at least with more than normal usage. Also, not getting here real world battery life from the users. Dear users, pls. advise on following:
- if not better than S24 at least at same level of batter usage?
- it is heard that the Note or S series sPen is not compatible in Z device, in that case, is it possible to transfer previous notes to the Z device and use it?
- is it true that the front/small screen is not compatible for sPen? You can write in the front screen? As a Note user for for many years, this is disappointing.
