No, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 Ultra is not coming
Samsung teased its upcoming Galaxy Fold smartphone yesterday, with its press release using the word "Ultra" a few times. The Korean brand said that the "Ultra experience is ready to unfold" and that this device will offer "an Ultra-experience that goes beyond a simple list of upgraded features." This led many to believe that Samsung was referring to the Galaxy Z Fold7 Ultra, but apparently, that's not the case.
Tipster Max Jambor claims that what Samsung did "was clearly meant to stir hype," and there will be no Ultra foldable coming. At least not this summer. The "Fold7 itself will bring the 'Ultra' experience," said Jambor.
That implies we'll only see three foldables from Samsung at its upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event - the Galaxy Z Fold7, the Galaxy Z Flip7, and the Galaxy Z Flip7 FE.
Samsung hasn't announced the date of the Unpacked event, but rumors claim it will take place in New York in early July. We should hear more about it and the foldable devices in the coming weeks.
