Samsung Game Launcher makes it to the Galaxy S6 and Note5

George, 11 August, 2016

Introduced in the spring alongside the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, Samsung's Game Launcher has been made available to last year's flagships. That means users can now game uninterrupted on their Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 edge, Galaxy S6 edge+ or Galaxy Note5 too.

Game Launcher lets you disable the less urgent alerts so you can focus on the obviously more important task at hand. Game tools, on the other hand, provides a tiny bubble shortcut, giving you access to screen capture and toggles for disabling the Recent apps and Back keys, plus the option to disable notifications on a per-game basis.

The app is available now for the listed devices, just make sure you don't look for in the Google Play Store - it's in your Galaxy Apps store.

Because it's optimised for their phones and hardware duh! Getting a game to run and record at decent quality taxes the GPU a lot especially on phones.
