My dad gave me his old one, and i'm posting this review abot nine years after the initial release. It took about two hours to fully charge, and setup was quick and easy (I was using without a cell phone.) I took it of the wireless charger and it lost about 40% in the first ten minutes, which kind of scared me. Ever since I've been letting it charge overnight and try not to use it when its on my wrist, because it looses around 3% every minute (yikes). The watch looks really nice and feels expensive, the wheel feels very premium, and overall it would be great with a better battery.

over 6 years with this watch, still get 3 days and have 1 dead pixel, not a bad watch to be honest. still waiting for it to die so i can a get new 1 :L, it just wont die though.

I have been using this watch since Jan 2017. Always on my wrist except swimming, shower or charging. Battery lasts 3 days with 0-100%. But paying attention to keep the charge between 20-80%. No burn-in, no issue yet...

I have been using this watch for around 8 months. Battery life is around 3 days without using power saving mode. Charging time is 1 hour and 10/20 mins. Got a used version and still works great. Voice recorder has appealing quality. Have saved some pictures and music too in it. Happy using this gear.

I had gear s2 classic for almost 2 years now, few weeks ago I started to notice a hallow of red tint at thr prephiri of the screen, it's always there even when the watch is off, it increases with time, can anyone please tell me what is this.

Pathetic condition of Gear S2 also the same. Charge goes from 80% to 50% in an 5Hours. brightness is kept 3 and screen saver is off and always connected to phone via Bluetooth LE.. Even though battery is not good on GEAR S2 Classic. samsung needs to something.

I purchased to replace my lost Apple Watch, and I prefer it to the AW now that I've gotten it set up the way I want. Set up didn't take long either. I've had my platinum Gear S2 Classic less than 24 hours. Highly recommend this watch to anyone who uses a smart watch primarily for the basics.
