Samsung Gear S3 frontier is now $50 off at Amazon, yours for $299

Samsung launched the Gear S3 smartwatches in the US last month, and now we're already seeing a pretty good deal on one of them. We're talking about the Gear S3 frontier, the more rugged option. Like the Gear S3 classic, this one is normally priced at $349, but you can now snag one from Amazon for just $299.

So you save a cool $50, or, to put it in other terms, 15% off the initial price. There are a couple of caveats here, however. First off, this appears to be the non-LTE Gear S3 frontier model, so if you want built-in mobile connectivity it isn't for you. Second, the watch is not in stock at the moment.

That said, you can order it and it will be sent to you as soon as Amazon gets a new batch, since this is one of those items that's shipped from and sold by the retailer itself. So you do have to be patient, for it may be a while before you receive your wearable. Of course if you want it on your wrist as soon as possible you can buy it from many other companies for $50 more, you decide if the savings trump the wait.
